Schedule 2025

Friday:

There will be hot coffee and snacks from our favorite bakery, Aðalbakarí Siglufjarðar waiting for you on Friday morning when we welcome you to the festival and hand out wristbands and welcome gifts. GG Sport will be there like last year, presenting their products and doing pre-orders for those interested. From the welcome ceremony we head up to the Siglufjörður ski area, where we ride together and/or relax in the RedBull spectator area. There, DJs will be playing some nice tunes, beer from Segull 67 and light snacks will be available at a discounted price for those with wristbands, and free RedBull for those everyone wanting extra energy;). Wristband holders are then invited to participate in our hilariously exciting Chinese downhill competition. Costumes? Feeling tipsy? Ready for speed or a slow burn? No pressure, we are here for all of it. This is all about good vibes!

Finally, we end the day with a gathering at Segull 67 Brewery with a couple of cold ones, and some après feeling.

*Weatherday, if the weather looks bad for Saturday, the freeride competition may be moved to Friday.

Saturday:

Freeride competition day! We will compete in women's ski and snowboard category, men's ski and snowboard category and in junior category (16-17 years old), in the mountains above Skarðsdalur Ski Area. For those competing remember to sign up HERE!

Competitors in the Freeride competition start the day quite early with mandatory attendance at the riders meeting where information about the venue, bib number and more will be discussed. We then head to Siglufjörður Ski Area, check out conditions and warm up. Then spectators can start making their way up to the mountain to take a couple runs before the competition. The Red Bull spectator zone will be open of course offering some good tunes, drinks, good vibe and a great view of the competition venue (good idea to bring binoculars). When the competition is over, we will celebrate the riders with an awesome award ceremony (brought to you by GG Sport) in the spectator zone. On Saturday night, we invite you to the epic RedBull afterparty at Kaffi Rauðka where good tunes help us burn the rest of our energy at the dance floor.

Sunday:

A great day to hit the slopes and just enjoy. Take a ride with old friends as well as new ones and chat about the weekend between runs.

*Weatherday, if the weather looks bad for Saturday, the freeride competition could be moved to Sunday.
